I had no idea what to do this week so I asked my boyfriend and he said (go figure) sports. While I’m not as fanatical as some, I do like sports.

I played a few in high school and absolutely loved it (volleyball and soccer). It’s such a shame that I had to grow up and stop playing. For a little girl, I was pretty aggressive.

Anyways, here are my favorite male sports players. Note that they’re based more on skills than looks. Ha!

“Did you want me to autopsy your watch?” –Ducky (NCIS)

Inspired by previous Tara’s Fab Fave, I decided to list out my favorite things to do to kill time. I rarely ever have time to waste but when I do, it’s the greatest thing ever. It makes me wish that I was younger for a lot longer.

Inspired by Tiffany, I decided to do my favorite features.

I’m not conceited; I’m just trying to inspire other girls to find something they love about themselves. Every girl should be happy with the cards they’ve been dealt. “Work with what your mama gave ya.” You shouldn’t fight who you are. And if something does make you unhappy for whatever reason, do something about it.

It’s that time of the year! If you remember last week’s Fab Faves, I named Christmas one of my favorite holidays. Since it’s now December, I’m already in the spirit of things starting with the playlist of my favorite carols. While there are more than listed below, these are my top faves. Not your traditional ones but just as good!

Happy Holidays everyone!

I’m not a big Thanksgiving fan, in fact I can’t remember the last time I celebrated the holiday with my family. However I am a big fan of other holidays and do make the effort to spread the spirit as much as possible.

They only come once a year so might as well make it worthwhile.

I have a soft spot for animals (but that doesn’t stop me from eating them). I had a handful of pets when I was a kid and just naturally grew to love them especially if they’re cute, small and soft.

This week’s fab faves will feature some of my favorite animals that I’ve come to love.

I’m a big gamer. Well maybe not that big but I do love games. It’s pretty common now-a -days to see girls rockin’ the DS or jamming to Guitar Hero without question. And who can blame them? Games are fun to play and great for passing time on the train, waiting room or in general.

I started playing when I was a wee toddler and have been since. So here’s my list of games that I’ve loved over the years till this day. Btw none of them are actually for girls but they’re just as fun!

If you didn’t know, I lived in Asia for the majority of my life before I moved to New York. I didn’t quite get into the Asian pop culture until I moved to New York (funny how that worked out) so you can only imagine how disappointed I am that I missed out on all the fun! Setting aside my regret, I very much love APop (Asian Pop) and even more so the hot Asian guys.

I recently had a conversation with a friend (who lives in Korea) that also loves APop like I do. We start talking about a Korean band called DBSK and well that’s what lead me to this post.

Here are my top fave Asian celebrity boys.

I haven’t celebrated Halloween in years (since 2003) but I still love the spirit of the holiday (if you can call it that). There are not very many things NOT to like about Halloween but there are some things that I especially love.

Also for those of you going out, please be safe. The world is still scary even without Halloween. While I won’t be out partying or trick-or-treating, I will be enjoying it from the comforts of my home.

Dressing Up
Who doesn’t like dressing up? I love it! You get to be someone/something else for one night and no one can make fun of you for it. Well maybe they can.

Sorting Candy
I always hated collecting the candy but I loved seeing what I got. I would always put them into little groups depending on what candy they were so I knew which ones I would eat first.

Trading Candy
And after sorting, I would trade all the candy I hated with my friends for something I actually liked. It was kind of like money to me.

Late Nights
When Halloween was on a school night, it would be the only night my parents would let me stay out late and sometimes skip school the next day.

Halloween Bash
In high school (when I got to old to go out), I would volunteer my time to my student council to help put on a “Halloween Bash” for little kids. It’s pretty much Halloween inside our school. We would have classroom to classroom candy hand outs, games in the cafeteria, a haunted hallway, etc; lots of fun!

Who doesn’t love things that are sweet and make you feel better? This past week my workload has hit an all time high and as such, I’ve been feeling miserable. So late last night I decided to take a break (let’s say around 4AM) and go out to a dinner to get some food. Not the brightest idea considering the hour but it really helped boost my morale which got me on the idea of what my favorite comfort foods are.
